Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    There is a minimum GPA of 2.0 required.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all institutions attended are required. Data from other institutions attended printed on the most recently attended institution's transcript is not accepted. An official high school transcript or GED results are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    There is no requirement for test score submission.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Letters of Recommendation are optional.
  • Essay:
    All applicants are encouraged to submit a personal essay with their application for admissions. Non-Conservatory applicants MUST submit a personal essay to be considered for departmental scholarships.
  • Application Fee:
    Online application is free.
  • Interview:
    There is no requirement for an interview.
  • Other Requirements:
    Conservatory applicants are required to audition, interview or submit a portfolio dependent on the major.

    Point Park will grant credit with a minimum grade of "C."

    The minimum credits required for transfer are 12. The maximum number completed through any combination at two-year colleges, proprietary schools, and the first two years at a four-year college is 70 credits.
