Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    There is no minimum college grade point average required of transfer applicants.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official high school transcripts and official transcripts from previously attended postsecondary institutions are required for admission consideration.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have completed 0-29 transferable semester units at the time of application, SAT I or ACT scores are required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    An Academic Recommendation from a teacher or counselor who is familiar with your academic standing is required. A Personal Recommendation from an employer, religious leader, teacher or counselor who can attest to your character is also required.
  • Essay:
    Write a essay or personal statement (300-500 words) that expresses your individuality and allows you to differentiate yourself from other applicants along with a few short answers. This is required for admission consideration.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a non-refundable $65 application fee.
  • Interview:
    An interview is not required for admission consideration.
  • Other Requirements:
    Include your Pepperdine Campus-Wide ID (CWID) or Common Application ID on all documents you submit. This will assist in the accurate and timely processing of your application file.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Seaver College grants unit credit for all transferable courses completed with a grade of C or higher at other regionally accredited colleges within seven years of the term of matriculation at Pepperdine.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students transferring to Seaver College from two-year or four-year colleges will receive credit for a maximum of 64 semester units. e. The last 28 units worth of requirements must be taken at Seaver College.
