Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  PennWest understands the financial burden of pursuing a college degree. That's why we're dedicated to making sure it's your most valuable investment. Each year, we award $14 million in scholarships to aid our students. In addition to need-based aid, transfer students are eligible for a scholarship of $1500-$2000 per year, based on their cumulative GPA from previous college(s) attended.

  PennWest accepts transfer students for the Fall, Spring, Summer and Winter terms.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Most programs require a minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.00
• Official Transcripts:
  Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended, are required. High school transcripts required for students with less than 12 earned college credits, and all Nursing applicants.
• SAT Scores:
  Test-optional
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Encouraged but not required
• Essay:
  Encouraged but not required
• Application Fee:
  $35 or fee waiver
• Interview:
  Not required
• Associates Degree Required:
  Not required

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  D grades accepted, but some academic programs may require such courses to be repeated to earn a higher grade, particularly when required in the major.
• Credits (Min/Max):
