  We accept all transfer students. Credits transfer in depending on program requirements, grades, courses taken and accreditation of sending school.

  Official transcripts from high school and all colleges previously attended are required prior to admissions approval.

  Not required but certain score ranges exempt students from developmental course work.

  Not required.

• Application Fee:
  Not required.
• Interview:
  Not required.
• Other Requirements:
  Placement testing may be required for students desiring to take math or English classes without math or English transfer credit.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Grades of C or higher from accredited institutions will transfer if the course or equivalent is required in the student's program.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Up to 1/2 (50%) of a student's program requirements (in credits) may be met through transfer work. At least 1/2 (50%) of a student's program requirements (in credits) must be met as Pennsylvania Highlands Community College local credit.

• Transfer Agreements:
  We have several transfer agreements with local universities including Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Mount Aloysius College and California University of Pennsylvania.

• Special Programs:
  Many transfer agreements are in place for Penn Highlands students including TAOC approved programs with PA State System of Higher Education universities, Nanotechnology through Penn State University and several technical programs with local CTCs.
