    Pace University offers scholarship opportunities to transfer students of up to $14,000. Both the Deans' Recognition Award and the Transfer Incentive Award are awarded for up to 4 years. For Financial Aid, complete a FAFSA by February 15th.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The mean GPA of accepted transfer students is 3.0. Nursing Program minimum GPA is 2.75.
  • Official Transcripts:
    High school transcripts are required if applying with less than 24 credits. (You do not have to submit a high school transcript if you have or will receive an associate degree.) College transcripts from all prior colleges/universities are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores are required if applying with less than 24 credits. (Applicants who have been out of school for two or more years are not required to submit test scores.)
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Two letters of recommendation from a faculty member or counselor are required.
  • Essay:
    A personal statement, approximately 500-700 words in length, is required.
  • Application Fee:
    $45 nonrefundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    An audition is required for applicants to the Theater and Performing Arts programs.
  • Other Requirements:
    Additional admissions criteria vary by program.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    In general, credit may be granted for courses taken at accredited institutions when a grade of at least a C has been earned.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Minimum credits - 13 credits. Maximum credits from an accredited two-year institution - 68 credits. Maximum credits from an accredited four-year institution - 96 credits.
