  Many financial aid programs are available at Owens Community College. With the exception of scholarships, the programs are administered by the Office of Financial Aid under policies established by federal and state governmental guidelines.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  There is a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 (from 4.0).
• Official Transcripts:
  The following documents and test scores may be required - An Enrollment Services Representative will be able to tell you which are necessary: High School Transcript or GED, College Grade Transcripts and Other Transcripts (LPN, A.I.B., Military, etc.)
• SAT Scores:
  ACT/SAT scores may be required.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Owens Community College does not publish a requirement for letters of recommendation.
• Essay:
  OCC does not publish a requirement for the submission of an essay or personal statements.
• Application Fee:
  Application to OCC is free.
• Interview:
  An appointment for academic advising with Enrollment Services is required.
• Other Requirements:
  Transfer in students should see an advisor prior to taking the COMPASS placement test. It may not be necessary to take the placement test depending on which classes have transferred in from another college or university.
