  • Accepts Transfers:
    A transfer student is one who has earned a minimum of 7 semester hours of college-level credit after graduation from high school.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    7-23 credits completed = 2.25 GPA, 24-59 credits completed = 2.25 GPA, and 60+ credits completed = 2.00 GPA.
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official transcript (print date must be less than three months old) from each college or university attended is required. An official high school transcript is required if you have less than 24 college-level credit hours.
  • SAT Scores:
    Official SAT or ACT scores are required if you have less than 24 college-level credit hours.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement may be required of some applicants.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $40 non-refundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    An interview may be required of some applicants.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is D.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A max of 65 credit hours may be accepted from a 2-year institution, 95 from a 4-year. You must earn 30 credit hours in residence at Oklahoma State to receive your bachelor's degree.
