  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    The Financial Aid Office is committed to providing financial assistance to students who lack the financial resources necessary to meet the costs of attendance at NCCC. Should there be any question about the affordability of an NCCC education, we encourage all students and their families to apply for aid. We further urge all students to read and familiarize themselves with policies and procedures so that they understand how the financial aid process works.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Proof of high school completion or GED with an official transcript is required. Submit official transcripts of previous course work from all previously attended colleges. Submit transcripts of previous course work to determine if the computerized.
  • Application Fee:
    A $20.00 non-refundable application fee is required, except for those applicants who have previously attended a Connecticut Community College.
  • Other Requirements:
    Submit proof of immunization records for measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), and varicella. (MMR requirements waived if born prior to January 1, 1957. Varicella requirement waived if born prior to January 1, 1980)

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Degree and certificate credit shall be granted for credit courses completed with a letter grade of “C-minus” or better, or with a grade of “P” (Pass).
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The student must complete at least twenty-five percent of the minimum credit requirements at NCCC to earn a degree to certificate.
