Northwest University is a Christian university located in Kirkland, Washington. Nearly 1,500 students are pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees on campus and online. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    2.3
  • Official Transcripts:
    High school and College transcripts. The High school transcript is not required for students who have completed 30 semester or 45 quarter college credits.
  • SAT Scores:
    The SAT/ACT requirement can be waived for a student who has completed 20 semester or 30 quarter college credits. However, we recommend that students submit a score if possible because it may assist for financial aid purposes.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Reference forms completed by a pastor and Christian Friend
  • Essay:
    Biographical essay, minimum of one page, single spaced
  • Application Fee:
    $30.00

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Courses must be graded a C- or better to transfer. Courses graded as Pass/Satisfactory need to be determined to have been at a C- level or higher in order for them to transfer. Some academic departments require higher grades than a C- to transfer.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Courses from two-year colleges are limited to 60 semester credits.
