Scholarships and Financial Aid:

Transfer Academic Scholarships from $5,000 - $10,000. Transfer applicants from two and four year colleges are eligible for this award based on their cumulative academic record.

Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

A grade of C- or better must have been earned in a course for transfer credit.
Official Transcripts:

Official high school transcripts or official GED score report are required. Official college transcripts from all institutions you have attended are also required.
SAT Scores:

ACT or SAT test scores are generally not needed for applicants who have been out of high school more than one year or who transfer in a significant amount of credits.
Letters of Recommendation:

A letter of recommendation from a teacher or someone who can speak to your ability to perform college level work is required.
Application Fee:

There is no application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

Credits (Min/Max):

A max of 65 credits will be accepted from all junior or 2-year colleges, and no limit on transferable credits from a 4-year college. A min of 30 credits must be earned at Northland to earn a degree.
