Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  At Northern Essex Community College we are committed to assisting students and their families meet the costs of a college education. NECC offers a comprehensive financial aid program to help students who would otherwise be unable to afford a college education. Financial aid can help you pay for the costs of attending NECC including tuition and fees, books, and other costs (room and board, transportation, and personal costs).

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Not published.
• Official Transcripts:
  Submit a copy of your official final high school transcript, diploma, or GED. Submit official college transcript(s) if you plan to transfer credit to NECC.
• SAT Scores:
  Not published.

  There is a $25 application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Transfer credit may be awarded for college level courses earned with a grade of C or better at another accredited institution.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  A minimum of 24 credit hours of course work must be completed at NECC in order to qualify for an associate’s degree and a minimum of 12 credits to qualify for a certificate.
