  $223/credit MA Residents, $235.50/credit New England Regional (CT, RI, NH, ME, VT), $455/credit Out-of-State. Additional fees vary by program.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  If you have attended another college, you may apply for transfer of credit to NSCC.
• Credit For Life Experience:
  You may be able to earn college credits for college-level learning obtained outside of the classroom. Gain a head start toward your North Shore Community College certificate or degree by using the knowledge you have acquired through prior learning.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Generally, transfer credit is granted for equivalent course work completed at institutions of higher education that are regionally accredited and in which a final grade of “C minus” or better is earned.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Students must meet NSCC’s residency requirement, which means that a minimum of 25% of your program of study credits must be completed at North Shore Community College. All remaining credits may be transfer credits.
