Application Deadlines for Transfer

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer students must have at least a 2.0 GPA (out of 4.0) in order to be considered for admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    North Park requires the submission of official college transcripts. Transfer students with more than 12 hours of transferable credit do not need to submit a high-school transcript unless requested by the Office of Undergraduate Admission.
  • SAT Scores:
    Students with fewer than 12 hours of transferable credit are considered first-year students and must submit high school transcripts and an ACT or SAT score.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    The submission of personal references is not required. There is a form with your application.
  • Essay:
    North Park recommends an essay or personal statement with your application but it is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no application fee.
  • Interview:
    North Park does not publish a requirement for a personal interview.
  • Other Requirements:
    ****Nursing Candidates will apply for General Admission first - Will Apply to Nursing Program during the semester when both NPU Core curriculum and nursing prerequisite requirements are completed.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    North Park does not publish a minimum grade requirement from accredited institutions. If courses from non-accredited institutions are accepted provisionally, 30 semester hours of work at North Park with a grade of C or better must be completed.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is a minimum of 12 credits to be considered for transfer. We can accept up to 60 credits from a two-year college and 90 credits from a four-year college.
