  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    The purpose of the NSU Financial Aid Program is to provide assistance to eligible students who, without such aid, would be unable to attend the University. Aid is awarded on the basis of need as determined through the U. S. Department of Education.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all colleges attended must be submitted by the institution(s) to the Office of Admissions. High school transcripts and/or GED scores are required if fewer than 15 semester hours are transferred.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores, if applicant is under the age of 21 and fewer than 15 semester hours are transferred.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Transfer students must be in good standing at the last school attended.
  • Application Fee:
    $25 non-refundable fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transfer credit is accepted for coursework with a grade of “C” or better from regionally accredited institutions of higher learning.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    No more than 30 semester hours completed as pass/fail credit may be considered for transfer credit.
