• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  At New College, we are proud of the fact that 90 percent of our students receive some form of financial assistance. You will receive scholarship funding to attend New College if: • You submit all required admission materials by the published deadlines. • You are admitted to and submit your $200 enrollment deposit to New College for fall 2020. • You are a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident Alien, or eligible non-citizen.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  2.6
• Official Transcripts:
  Official transcripts from each secondary and post-secondary school you have attended must be submitted electronically or by mail.
• SAT Scores:
  Scores are required, not as a minimum or threshold. Contact New College to ask about test scores waivers.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Although not required, letters of recommendation are STRONGLY encouraged. Letters of recommendation may be from a guidance counselor, college advisor, supervisor, dean or teacher who has taught you in an academic subject.
• Essay:
  Optional and may be on any subject to highlight academic writing ability.
• Application Fee:
  No application fee for the 20/21 academic year, or Fall 21 semester.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  New College accepts transfer credits for courses in the liberal arts and sciences completed with a grade of C or above at an accredited, post-secondary, degree-granting college or university.
