Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    We look at many factors with no one component of the application singled out as most important. We examine the rigor of the college you attended and the difficulty level of the classes you took. For transfer admission consideration, you must be in good standing at your current college or university and have at least a 2.00 GPA.
  • Official Transcripts:
    A student must have an official transcript mailed to the Admissions Office from every institution attended at least one week prior to the beginning of the term in which he or she plans to enroll.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a a $20 application fee (or apply online free).

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    NWU accepts credit for courses with a C- or above.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 64 semester hours will be accepted for transfer from junior or vocational/technical colleges.
