The fourth largest community college in the state, National Park Community College averages approximately 3,000 credit students per semester enrolled in college courses blending liberal arts with occupational education to prepare students to enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year institution. Over 2,000 students a year also enroll in a wide range of non-credit and continuing education services provided by the Community Services/Continuing Education Program. These include customized workforce training for business and industry, on-site courses for the hospitality and tourism industry, on campus computer classes, online classes, and various professional development workshops.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    The submission of official transcripts from all previous colleges are required along with official highschool transcripts.
  • SAT Scores:
    NPCC requires the submission of ACT, COMPASS, ASSET and or other placement scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Students previously enrolled in other postsecondary institutions must provide evidence of good standing from those institutions.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no fee required with your application.
  • Interview:
    NPCC does not publish a requirement for an interview.
  • Other Requirements:
    All incoming students must show proof of two measles (rubeola) and one German measles (rubella) immunization.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    NPCC requires a minimum grade requirement of "C" for transfer.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    NPCC requires six (6) hours of college level courses completed at another regionally accredited college or university. A minimum of 18 semester credit hours of any associate degree must be completed at NPCC, regardless of transfer credits.
