Our main campus is located in downtown Chicago on Michigan Avenue. National Louis University was established over 130 years ago, and is one of the oldest and most progressive universities in Chicago. We feature a second campus in Tampa, Florida that was established in 1988 and located in one of Tampa's major business districts, NLU’s Florida Regional Center serves students in 13 counties in central Florida. We offer more than 70 undergraduate and graduate degree programs through five colleges: the National College of Education, the Graduate College of Business, the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, Kendall College of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, and the Undergraduate College.

Transfer scholarships are available to help you more easily continue your college career at NLU. You can qualify for up to $6,000 a year.
Tuition and Fees:

Undergraduate Rates: $10,260/year (full-time, day); $6,000/term (full-time, evening, 14-18 credits); $430/credit hour (less than 14 credits); $6,000/term + $430/credit hour above 18 (full-time plus).

Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:

Up to 60 quarter hours of technical credit may be accepted by the following programs: Applied Behavioral Sciences, Health Care Leadership, Management and Management Information Systems.
Credit For Life Experience:

At NLU, your personal and professional experience and knowledge may be worth college credit. Our PLA office provides several programs for you to demonstrate college-level learning including credit by portfolio, examination, and credentials.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

All bona fide college level courses, appropriate to the program to be pursued, may be applied toward National Louis University’s undergraduate degree programs if you received a C grade or better.
Credits (Min/Max):

Per the University Undergraduate Residency Policy Requirement, a minimum of 60 QH must be taken at NLU, including the last 45 QH (minimum of three courses) taken for the degree.
