    78% percent of our undergraduate students began their college journey at another institution. Our transfer-friendly university offers small class sizes and a commitment to helping you find your true self.
  • Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
    A maximum of 30 technical/vocational credits can be transferred.
  • Credit For Life Experience:
    We accept College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) and Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) exams. However, life experience does not count as college credit.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 is required for admission consideration. Open admissions are guaranteed for transfer students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities are required, as well as official high school transcripts.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Coursework must be for-credit, college-level, and completed with a “C-” or higher. Credits must be earned from regionally accredited colleges and institutions accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Incoming undergraduate students are eligible to transfer up to 60 credit hours to Naropa’s degree programs from other accredited institutions. This means that, at most, incoming students can begin their studies at Naropa as a first-semester junior.
