Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  You are a transfer student if: You have graduated from high school or have earned a GED, and you have attended college after high school graduation or after earning your GED. We're here to help you make a smooth transition to Murray State University.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  2.0
• Official Transcripts:
  Official transcripts must be mailed directly from all institutions at which the student has registered. Applicants who have earned fewer than 30 hours or who are from KY, IL, IN, MO, and TN may be required to submit additional documents.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  A minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale) is required.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  There is no limit to the number of hours that may be transferred from a regionally accredited institution. At least 20 of the last 32 semester hours required for graduation must be earned in residence at Murray State.
