Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
Students with a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or better will be considered for admission to the University. Students pursuing a major within the School of Education must have a minimum GPA of 2.75, according to New Jersey State Guidelines. Admission is determined by successful completion of coursework over time and is not automatic; there may be instances when a student with a 2.25 GPA or greater will not be offered admission. This is decided on a student-by-student basis.
  • Official Transcripts:
Official copy of transcripts from ALL colleges or universities attended are required. Official high school transcripts are required if fewer than 24 transferable credits have been earned at another college or university.
  • SAT Scores:
An official copy of SAT I or ACT scores is required if fewer than 24 transferable credits have been earned at another college or university.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a non-refundable $50 application fee.
  • Associates Degree Required:
Associate degrees, although valued, are not taken as a whole. They are evaluated course by course in accordance with the desired major.
