We are a four-year, state-supported institution providing a variety of degree programs and offering professional master’s degrees, four-year baccalaureate degrees, two-year associate degrees, pre-professional transfer programs and one-year certificates.   • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    FAFSA applications are available on Oct. 1 each year. Our school code is 002490. The Griffon Guarantee Transfer Scholarship is merit-based and renews and grows each year. The $500 Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is available to eligible transfer applicants.

    Typical Cost of Attendance: $15,275 In-State; $21,848 Out-of-State. This includes tuition/fees (15 credit hours/semester), room, and board.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    If you have earned 24 hours of credit or more, you must submit official college transcripts from all previously attended institutions. If you have fewer than 24 hours of credit, your final high school transcript or GED are also required.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have earned fewer than 24 hours of credit, official ACT or SAT results are required. Students age 20 or older are not required to submit ACT scores; however, placement tests may be required for some subjects.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    Students who have completed an Associate of Arts degree (AA) from a regionally-accredited institution are considered to have satisfactorily completed our general studies requirements.

  • Credits (Min/Max):
    You must complete 20 credits at Missouri Western to earn your associate degree, and 30 credits to earn your bachelor's degree.
