Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  Nearly 1/3 of Missouri S&T's new students each year are transfer students who previously attended another college or university.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  Request all of your official transcripts be sent directly to the Director of Admissions.
• SAT Scores:
  Transfer applicants are not required to submit standardized test (ACT and/or SAT) scores .
• Essay:
  You may include a personal statement of 200 words or less, discussing a topic you wish the admissions committee to review. This statement may include your educational goals, discussion of personal circumstances, etc.
• Application Fee:
  There is a non-refundable $45 application fee payable to Missouri S&T.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  All grades, quality points and credit hours are transferred and computed in the cumulative GPA.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  The last 60 hours of an undergraduate program must normally be taken in residence at Missouri S&T.
