Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Complete the transcript request form(s) and mail to all colleges or universities attended to request an official transcript be sent to the Director of Admissions at the campus of your choice.
  • SAT Scores:
    If no math or English was taken at your previous college, either submit ACT scores or make an appointment to take the Freshman placement test (COMPASS).
  • Other Requirements:
    Documentation must be provided before enrollment or the Friday of the 4th week of class. Students failing to do so may be denied continued enrollment.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Applicability of transfer work depends on the coincidence of transfer credit meeting requirements of MGCCC’s degree programs or a particular program of study.

    MGCCC participates in the Articulation Agreement between Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning and Mississippi State Board for Community and Junior Colleges.
