Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  The M State Office of Financial Aid recommends that you apply electronically by completing a FAFSA online. Your application for financial aid should be made well in advance of the time funds are needed. M State's FAFSA code is 005541.
• Tuition and Fees:
  Estimated Cost of Full-Time Attendance: Tuition $5,424 + Room/Board $6,724 + Books/Supplies $1,960 + Personal/Transportation $2,800 + Fees $476 = $17,384.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Credit For Life Experience:
  M State students may apply to obtain course credit based on previous relevant life, learning, military and work experience. The experience shall be from non-credit and experiential settings, recent and relevant, and of satisfactory performance.

  Submit your high school/GED and all college transcripts to M State.
• Other Requirements:
  Students interested in programs with selective admissions processes must complete a program application prior to stated deadlines. Please visit the program's page to review the application packet and complete an online program application.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  “D” grades will be accepted in transfer if the student’s overall Grade Point Average (GPA) from the sending college or university is 2.0 or higher. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 is required for graduation.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Students must earn 20 semester credits/equivalent or 1/3 of the credits required for graduation, whichever is less; at the College.
