Information for Transfer In Students

  • Accepts Transfers:
    Transfer students are those who have completed 24 or more college credit hours after high school graduation at the time of application to Milligan College.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    You must have a GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for transfer admission consideration.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Furnish transcripts of all previous college work. High school transcripts are not required unless you have completed fewer than 24 college semester hours.
  • SAT Scores:
    ACT or SAT-I scores are not required unless you have completed fewer than 24 college semester hours.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Arrange for a school official and a church minister or leader to complete the enclosed school and church reference forms.
  • Essay:
    There is a 200 word minimum essay required on your application.
  • Application Fee:
    Complete the application form and submit it to the Office of Admissions with a non-refundable application fee of $30.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Milligan College does not accept any transfer credit for courses at other institutions for which a grade below a C- was earned.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The minimum number of credit hours earned at Milligan toward a bachelor’s degree shall be 45.
