Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A minimum of a 2.0 GPA is required for acceptance.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Students transferring from other colleges or universities are required to follow the regular admissions procedure, including the submission of an official high school transcript and an official transcript from each college attended.
  • SAT Scores:
    ACT scores are not required of transfer students.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    College work completed at an institution accredited by one of the regional accrediting associations may be applied toward a degree at Midland provided the courses correspond reasonably to those offered at Midland, and that a grade of C- is earned.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students may transfer a maximum of 72 credit hours from an accredited community or junior college. In order to graduate from Midland, a transfer student must complete at least the 32 of the last 40 credit hours in residence and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
