    Yes. Guaranteed Admission is granted to students that transfer with a 2.0 cumulative GPA and earned 24 semester hours. Students below the 2.0 GPA must fill out a transfer personal statement form
  • Degree Completion Programs:
    The MTSU Adult Degree Completion program was created for the working adult who needs to finish a bachelor's degree to get ahead in his or her career. Read more at http://www.mtsu.edu/universitycollege/outreach/adcp.php.
  • Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
    No.
  • Credit For Life Experience:
    The Prior Learning Assessment program provides a nationally recognized method of allowing college credit for learning that you may have obtained through work, seminars, training programs, military education programs, and certification programs.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    24 or more earned semester hours with a 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from each institution are required. Students who have not earned a Bachelor's degree in the past will also need to submit official high school transcripts as well.
  • SAT Scores:
    ACT or SAT scores are only required if the student has earned less than 24 credit hours and is 21 or younger.
  • Application Fee:
    $25
  • Associates Degree Required:
    No.
  • Other Requirements:
    Transfer applicants not meeting guaranteed admission criteria may submit their credentials to the Admissions Review Board for review. Information about this process is mailed to students during the application processing stage.
