Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Those students applying for federal/state aid should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after January 1 as possible. Include MACU as a recipient of the information by listing our school code, 006942, in Step 6 of the FAFSA form.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Transfers from another college or university must be eligible to continue studies at the institution from which they are transferring.
• Official Transcripts:
  Transfer applicants must submit official transcripts from all post secondary institutions attended. Some transfer applicants with less than 24 transferable hours may be required to submit additional information.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  The recommendation form provides a reference from someone who can speak on the applicant's character development. Simply request the form to be completed and sent to the MACU Admissions Office.
• Application Fee:
  Complete and return the Application for Admission to the Office of Admissions with a nonrefundable application fee of $25

Transfer Credit Policy

• Credits (Min/Max):
  Credit will be allowed for course work taken at a junior college up to and including 64 hours. To qualify for a degree a transfer student must complete at least 30 semester hours in residence at Mid-America.
