Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Financial aid is assistance available to help students with the costs of attending college. This assistance comes from the federal and state government, MCC, and private sources. Financial aid includes grants, federal work-study, student loans, and scholarships. The federal and state grants are only available to students who have not earned a bachelor's or a professional degree.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  If you are pursuing a degree, certificate or specialist diploma at Metro, please request an official transcript to be sent.
• SAT Scores:
  Although the American College Testing (ACT) placement test is not required, if a student has taken the ACT within the last two years, he/she may request that ACT forward scores to the Records Office.
• Application Fee:
  Metropolitan Community College does not require a formal application or application fee for admission or registration. Admission to the College, however, does not mean admission to all courses or programs.
