    To be considered for all federal, state and MCCC financial aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The federal school code for Mercer is 002641. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Your final official high school transcripts and official transcripts from any other colleges attended are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Standardized test scores are required for placement test exemptions.
  • Other Requirements:
    New Jersey State Law requires that each student intending to attend Mercer full-time must submit an Immunization Record signed by his/her physician.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Only courses in which a grade of C or better was earned are eligible for transfer credits.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    At least 15 credits, with six of these from courses at the 200 level, in the student’s major, must be earned at Mercer County Community College to be awarded an associate degree.
