Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA to transfer is a 2.5.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official high school and college transcripts are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT or ACT scores are required for students applying with less than 30 credits.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    One letter of recommendation is required.
  • Essay:
    A personal essay is required.
  • Application Fee:
    $60 nonrefundable fee.
  • Interview:
    Interviews are not required, however, appointments may be made to speak about the application.
  • Other Requirements:
    If applying without an associate degree or with an A.A.S. submit a list of courses presently being taken, college catalogs from all institutions previously attended and Financial aid transcripts from all collegiate institutions previously attended.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    ā€œPā€ grades may be accepted for credit but only if they represent a ā€œCā€ or better as defined by the regulations of the institution of origin.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Ordinarily, transfer students must earn fifty percent (50%) of the credit necessary for graduation at Manhattan College.
