• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Applying for and receiving financial aid can be an overwhelming process. Having patience and being diligent will make the process work for you. If you plan ahead and follow the necessary steps throughout the process you will be able to maximize your financial aid opportunities. It's worth the time and effort!

Application Deadlines for Transfer

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Transfer Students who have been academically dismissed or are on probation from another institution or have less than a 2.0 cumulative GPA may be admitted on academic probation. If you have completed 24 college credits, only the GPA on your college transcript(s) will be used to calculate your MCC scholarship.
• Official Transcripts:
  You will need to provide official transcripts covering all your college-level credits. If you have completed less than 24 college credits, you may want to provide us with a high school transcript— for the sole purpose of receiving MCC scholarships.
• SAT Scores:
  Not published.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Distribute the two personal reference forms to the appropriate people and ask them to mail the forms to the Admissions Office. List in your application the names of the people to whom you gave the reference forms.
• Application Fee:
  Submit a completed application form along with a $25 application fee (non-refundable).

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  In order for a course to transfer, the final grade for that course must be a "C" or higher. A grade of "C-" or lower, will not be transferable.
