Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    You must have earned 18 non-developmental course hours from a regionally accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Not published.
  • SAT Scores:
    All students who have not completed freshman English and math are encouraged to take the ACT assessment before registration. Students who choose to take neither the ACT Assessment or the COMPASS Test will be placed in developmental courses.
  • Application Fee:
    Louisiana State University at Alexandria charges a fee of $20 for processing applications. This nonrefundable $20 fee must be submitted with each student's application.
  • Other Requirements:
    You must have completed a college-level English and Math course designed to fulfill general education requirements.
