Lindsey Wilson College is a four-year liberal-arts college affiliated with the Kentucky Conference of The United Methodist Church. LWC is located on more than 200 partially wooded acres on a hilltop in Columbia, Ky., a small town about 20 miles from Lake Cumberland in South Central Kentucky. William T. Luckey Jr. is LWC's eighth president, and John B. Begley is chancellor. Under President Luckey's leadership, LWC's operating budget has been dramatically expanded to more than $54 million, and the number of faculty and staff has grown to more than 300. Lindsey Wilson is classified as a Baccalaureate College-Liberal Arts by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The cumulative GPA of students transferring to Lindsey Wilson College will include hours attempted and quality points earned from all previously attended institutions. Students transferring with a 2.00 GPA or below will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit your high school transcript or college transcript if you have transfer work from another college such as dual credit or AP (Advanced Placement) coursework. An official transcript from all colleges and universities attended is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Provide ACT/SAT score(s) after you have taken the test(s).
  • Interview:
    All applications are reviewed on an individual basis through a rolling admissions by the Director of Admissions.
  • Other Requirements:
    A completed Statement for Transfer Students Form from all colleges and universities attended is required.
