    LCU Traditional Undergraduate estimated direct costs - $22,310 annual. This includes tuition (15 credits) and room & board (dorm room, meals, parking registration, mail room key, library and printing access. Textbook costs vary.

Information for Transfer In Students

  • Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
    Under certain conditions LCU accepts up to 30 hours of credits from courses considered technical or vocational in nature.
  • Credit For Life Experience:
    Students who need additional credit in the areas of General Education or transferrable elective requirements may be able to earn additional semester hours through Credit for Prior Learning portfolios.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    If the applicant is a college transfer student with 24 or more credit hours completed, only college transcript(s) are required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    The Christian Character Reference Form should be completed by someone in leadership at a Christian church, organization, company, or other ministry who has a close relationship with the applicant and can vouch for the applicant’s Christian character.
  • Essay:
    An essay telling us why you want to enroll at LCU is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    LCU accepts credits transferred from other institutions provided they demonstrate appropriate quality (i.e., from an accredited institution with the final grade of at least C).
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    At least 30 hours of any Bachelor of Arts degree program (15 hours for Associate of Arts and Associate of Science) must be completed through course work offered by LCU.
