Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    For most majors, the minimum cumulative GPA for admission consideration is a 2.0. Education, Nursing and Biology majors will need a 2.75, and those students interested in our specialized health programs will need a cumulative 3.25.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts are required from all colleges and universities a student has attended. Nursing majors and student-athletes will also need to provide a high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    Not published.
  • Application Fee:
    $40
  • Interview:
    We encourage prospective transfer students to visit campus and meet with a transfer counselor, but an interview is not required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Grades of "D" or above will be accepted except for College Writing I or II, and any course in the student's major. All coursework at the 100 level or above will be utilized to calculate a student's transferable GPA.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students must have a minimum of 12 transferable credit hours to be considered a transfer student. We will accept up to 72 hours from a community college, and up to 96 from four-year institutions.
