• Percentage Accepted:
  100% of the applications received are generally accepted but admission to a specific program of study is not necessarily guaranteed.

  LCCC provides credits for completion of programs of study at the regional career and technical institutes; including but not limited to Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, Carbon Career & Technical Institute, and Schuylkill Technology Center.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  Individuals who have attended other accredited colleges and universities should submit official transcripts from each school attended. In addition, all applicants are encouraged to submit a high school transcript or GED.
• SAT Scores:
  Not required.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Generally not required unless specified for those applying to a restricted program.
• Essay:
  Generally not required unless specified for those applying to a restricted program.
• Interview:
  Generally not required unless specified for those applying to a restricted program.
• Other Requirements:
  Students applying for the Associate Degree in Nursing, Practical Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Professional Pilot, and Veterinary Technician have additional requirements. See program admission requirements.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Grades of “D” and “F” will not be accepted for transfer credit. Courses without letter grades (such as pass/fail) will not be accepted. Pass/Fail exceptions are made for coursework impacted by COVID 19.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  See graduation requirements. At least fifteen credits of the total required credits must be earned at LCCC.

Information for Transfer Out Students

• Number of Transferring:
  Approximately half of the students attending LCCC intend to transfer to a four-year college or university after their community college experience.
• Transfer Agreements:
  LCCC has transfer agreements with over 60 institutions. These agreements provide a seamless pathway for students looking at local colleges, universities beyond the region, or online programs to complete their bachelor's degree and more.
