Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    We encourage transfer students who have completed a minimum of 1 semester of college work with a 2.0 GPA or higher to apply.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Transfer applicants who have earned less than 30 college credits from an accredited institution should submit their final secondary school transcript (not required if you have 30 credits), as well as their official college/university transcript(s).
  • SAT Scores:
    Official SAT I or ACT scores are required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    2 recommendations (1 must be academic) are required.
  • Essay:
    A personal statement or essay (250 word minimum) is required.
  • Application Fee:
    Lasell College waives the application fee for applications completed and submitted online. It costs $40 to apply to Lasell College using a paper application.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transfer credit is awarded for completed college level courses, with grades of C (2.0) or better, from an accredited institution.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students pursuing a Bachelor degree are required to complete 50% of their credits at Lasell, the final semester of which must be at Lasell College.
