LCCC was established in 1968 and is a full-service, comprehensive community college with campuses in Cheyenne and Laramie, offering a wide range of academic, career/technical and community education programs.   • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Get started by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). LCCC's school code is 009259. Students should also complete the online LCCC Foundation Donor Scholarship Application to be considered for over 400 scholarships. The best time to apply is between January 1 and April 1 each year. Make sure to apply by the priority deadline of April 1 for full consideration.
  • Tuition and Fees:
    Tuition and fees are charged for each credit hour a student enrolls in. Tuition rates vary based on a student’s residency classification.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    It is recommended that transfer students submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions so that credits may be evaluated accordingly.
  • SAT Scores:
    Make sure that LCCC has received all of your transcripts - we may be able to use your high school GPA or your ACT scores for placement into courses.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no fee to apply for admission.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A minimum grade of C is required in college-level course work from a regionally accredited institution to be accepted in transfer at LCCC.
