Information for Transfer In Students

• Credit For Life Experience:
  Credit for prior learning offers students the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge they have gained through life experiences in a portfolio and apply this knowledge towards credit in a degree or certificate program.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Students may transfer credits from other accredited colleges provided they earned a grade of C or better, and those credits are equivalent to the courses in their program.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Students seeking a degree at the College must earn a minimum of fifteen (15) semester hours from LRCC. For a certificate, students must complete at leastsix (6) credits or 25% of the credits, whichever is larger, from Lakes Region Community College.
