    All transfer applicants who have a min GPA of 2.75 are eligible for a Founder’s scholarship (no separate application necessary).Scholarship amounts vary between $6,000 and $15,000 and the amount awarded will depend on the applicant's overall GPA.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    To be considered as a qualified applicant, a transfer student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, but a 2.7 or higher is preferred.
  • Official Transcripts:
    The submission of offical transcripts from all colleges previously attended is required. You must submit official high school transcripts if you are transferring less than 30 credits.
  • SAT Scores:
    You must sumbit official SAT/ACT results, if you have less than 30 transferable credits completed.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    LaSalle requires the submission of a letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor.
  • Essay:
    The submission of a personal statement is optional for students who wish to share additional information they believe will help in the decision making process.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $35 application fee, which is waived if you apply online.
  • Interview:
    A personal interview is not required; however, it is available.
  • Other Requirements:

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Credit is transferred only for grades of “C” (2.0) or better; however, the letter grade is not included in the computation of a student’s academic index at La Salle.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Seventy credits is the maximum allowable amount to transfer into La Salle. Furthermore, transfer students may be required to make up certain courses that belong to the sequence required in the program of studies for which they are applying.
