Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Minimum GPA requirements: Liberal arts/Business majors - 2.0, Science majors - 2.5 GPA, Education majors - 3.0 GPA overall prior to entering, Accounting majors - 2.5 GPA and a 2.5 GPA in the major
  • Official Transcripts:
    Both official high school transcripts and official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended are required for admission consideration.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT or ACT scores are optional (program dependent) but, if available, may be submitted for admission consideration.
  • Essay:
    The essay or personal statement is optional for admission consideration.
  • Application Fee:
    No application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Only those courses with a C grade or better will be considered to be transferable.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    An official evaluation will be performed after an offer of admission is extended. King's will accept up to 60 credits in transfer; half of the major requirements need to be taken at King's.
