    If you transfer with at least 30 credit hours and a 3.0, you will receive an $8,000 scholarship. If you transfer with a 3.5, or if you're a member of Phi Theta Kappa, you will receive a $9,000. Other merit scholarships/grants may also be available.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    King will grant semester hour equivalence for transfer work of C or better and only grades of C- or better will be applied toward graduation requirements. Nursing majors are required to earn a C or better in natural science courses.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students with fewer than thirty hours (or the equivalent) are expected to follow the freshman entrance procedures. All transfer students must meet the residency requirement of 50 King College credits.
