  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    All resident students typically work on campus for one to two hours a day. His or her work is credited to school accounts. This allows for students to pay off part of their bill. There are scholarships available to those who are in need. For those who are interested, they may apply through the admissions counselors.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Not published.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official high school, as well as official transcripts from all previously attended institutions, are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    A score of 15 or higher on the American College Test (ACT) is required. Students who are 28 years old or older will be exempt from taking the ACT.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Two favorable recommendations are required. The Admissions and Retention Committee will secure these by telephoning or writing to persons listed as references on the application form.
  • Essay:
    One or two paragraphs about yourself, including: Christian experiences (present relationship with Jesus Christ, school experiences, participation in your local church and Christian service), your life goals, and why you have chosen to attend KMBC.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $25 application fee.
  • Other Requirements:
    Applicants must have a physical examination and have the form signed by the physician. A small photograph of the applicant is requested.

  • Minimum Grade:
    Individual courses must carry a grade of C or greater.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Candidates for an Associate of Arts degree in Biblical Studies must complete 30 hours or one year of full-time study in residence at Kentucky Mountain Bible College.
