Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA requirement is 2.0 for transfer admission consideration.
  • Official Transcripts:
    High school transcripts are required if applying with less than 45 quarter (30 semester) credits. College transcripts from every institution attended are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Offical SAT/ACT scores are required is applying with less than 45 quarter (30 semester) credits.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $40 non-refundable fee to apply.
  • Interview:
    At any time during the application or enrollment process, the University may require any applicant to appear for a personal interview.
  • Other Requirements:
    All applicants must submit the Immunization Form. At any time during the application or enrollment process, the University may require any applicant to take standardized achievement, assessment, placement, and psychological tests.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Grades of D will be accepted if higher grades are transferred with which to average to a 2.00 GPA.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Applicants with fewer than 30 semester hours of acceptable transfer credit must meet the same admissions requirements identified earlier for freshmen admitted from high school. Kennesaw State does not publish maximum transfer credit requirements.
