Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative college GPA (with 24 or more college credit hours). If fewer than 24 college credit hours, high school information is also required for acceptance.
• Official Transcripts:
  College transfers must submit an official transcript from each college previously attended. To be considered official, transcripts MUST be sent directly from institution to JBU.
• SAT Scores:
  20 ACT/950 SAT & 2.5 high school GPA.Students transferring to JBU with fewer than 24 college hours are required to have an SAT or ACT score on file.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  A personal reference is required. The personal reference should be filled out by someone from a church background (pastor, Bible study leader, etc.). As you fill out the online application, you can submit an email address for your reference.

  A brief phone interview is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Courses that transfer to John Brown University must have a minimum grade of 'C'.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Credit which has been earned at another institution will be reviewed by the Registrar and the appropriate division faculty. All credit with a C or higher will transfer as either Core, Major, or Elective credit.
