Faulkner State Community College, a public two-year institution located in Baldwin County in southwest Alabama, has three campuses located in Bay Minette, Gulf Shores, and Fairhope. Faulkner State is a member of the Alabama Community College System. The College strives to provide an educational environment that promotes development and learning through a wide variety of educational programs and instructional strategies, adequate and comfortable facilities, a caring and well-qualified staff, flexible scheduling, and convenient locations. Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

Transfer students whose cumulative GPA at the transfer institution(s) is 2.0 or above on a 4.0 scale will be admitted on Clear academic status. Transfer students whose cumulative GPA 2.0 on a 4.0 scale will be admitted only on Academic Probation.
Official Transcripts:

The submission of official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions previously attended is required, as well as the submission of official high school transcripts.
Essay:

Faulkner State does not publish a requirement for the submission of an essay, nor do they ask for one with your application.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

The minimum grade for transfer credit is "D" if you are accepted on clear status. Transfer students admitted on academic probation will have only course grades of "C" or better accepted for transfer.
