  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Jacksonville College offers two basic types of aid to assist students in meeting the financial demands of college attendance. Gift aid or scholarships are provided by the college to pay for a portion of the educational expenses of the student. Governmental financial aid includes federal/state grants and work-study. Neither scholarships or grants have to be repaid.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer students with a low grade-point average may be subject to Scholastic Probation or Enforced Scholastic Withdrawal policies.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Academic transcripts from all college/universities previously attended will be evaluated for possible transfer credit to Jacksonville College.
  • Application Fee:
    The application fee for U.S. Citizens is $15, and the application fee for Non-Immigrant Aliens is $100.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Only college credit course grades of ā€œCā€ or higher will be accepted for credit.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The College sets no limit on the amount of hours that can be transferred in other than a maximum 15 semester hours of correspondence-type courses. However, all Jacksonville College graduation requirements are applicable to transfer-in credits.
