  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    The new Associate Degree Grant offers community college graduates an additional $1,150 when they enroll full time in the College of Undergraduate Studies. An NSF grant supports the STEM Scholars Program, offering up to $10,000 per year to current or recent community college students who continue their full-time studies in biology, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    An overall GPA of a 2.0 or higher for acceptance into the university and certain programs. For our Nursing program, an overall GPA of a 3.0 or higher (Please see other requirements)
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official transcript from all post-secondary institutions the student have attended. Students who have earned fewer than 24 transferable credits must also submit high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    Optional if students would like to submit their SAT or ACT scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Not required to submit one letter of recommendation; however, they are welcome to do so.
  • Essay:
    Not required to submit an essay; however, they are welcome to do so.
  • Application Fee:
    FREE if you apply through online or common application! If you apply through paper application, there's a fee of $35.
  • Interview:
    Not required of transfer students; however, they are welcome to meet with an admission counselor.
  • Other Requirements:
    Nursing applicants will only be considered for admission if they complete prerequisite requirements: Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II, and Chem I with a "C+ or better grade".

    A minimum grade of a "C or higher" for a course to be considered transferable. Credits will only be transferred from an accredited institution.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 64 credits may be transferred from an accredited institution.
